Manufactured to tackle continuous and repeated incisions in order to be as efficient as possible. As traditional blades that work in a linear motion rather than a cyclic motion, this option means there is less wear and tear on the mechanisms that drive them. For example, you may want to use circular knives for tissue and paper slitting or tea bag production perforators and slitting, whereby the delicacy of the task requires a combination of speed and accuracy. It can also be useful for news and magazine printing, whereby items should be as uniform as possible, and it is necessary to have any text and images shown correctly. What are the Specifications?

 

As we offer a service that is personalised to your needs, we work to your required specification. However, we do have a standard set of materials that we use for circular knives in the case of new applications or research and development projects, we use pre-hardened and tempered materials such as carbon grades CS75, CS80, CS95, and stainless-steel grade 420. By using pre-hardened materials at this stage, this saves money through the design development process. When it comes to the final production designs, we then use the superior quality materials, safe in the knowledge that the proofs have worked as desired.
